Special Meeting

The following Board Members were present:

Mr. Anastasio said Maine Benefits Trust has capped medical insurance increases at 5%.  In the proposed budget, we had budget a 12% increase based on our experience last year.  That amounts to a savings of $177,656.  The administrative team made the following recommendations:

 

            Reinstate the two half time secretaries and study hall monitor at Cony at a cost of $52,200

            Add an additional ELL Teacher at a cost of $60,000

            Reinstate 10% of supplies previously cut from budget at a cost of $37,642

            Return $27,814 in building and grounds budget

 

            The Board approved the recommendations.

             Grade 12.
