Welcome to Augusta Adult and Community Education

We are offering some new classes which will bring you out of winter hibernation and into spring. In making your New Year’s resolution for self- improvement, why not try Yoga, Tai Chi, or the new exercise rage – ZUMBA®. Perhaps you would prefer making Needhams candies; taking

Floral Arranging, joining a Discussion - Film class, learning how to Unlock your Hidden Potential, or check out the Paranormal or Cosmic Communications. Speaking of communication, it is easy if you know American Sign Language or Spanish.

We also have spring and summer classes during the day at the Kennebec Learning Center where you can take enrichment courses like Introduction to Computers or Digital Photography. We also offer ESOL classes. High school diploma and GED classes are available along with upgrade English, reading, math, computers for college and the workplace. Call us at 626-2470 to make an appointment to register with our counselor.

We have entered the 21st Century Cyberspace! Information on our program is available on three different sites, beginning with www.augustaschools.org (click on District Programs).
