Augusta Adult and Community Education (a division of the Augusta School Department) provides life-long learning opportunities for the community.  We offer high school diploma, GED and college-prep classes; office and employment skills and vocational training; life improvement and enrichment courses; literacy and ESOL (English Speakers of Other Languages), American Sign Language I/II; and general interest classes.

Take advantage of some new opportunities we have to offer.  Our new artist in residence will be offering Oil Painting and Acrylic Painting this semester. We move into the 21st Century with English Online. And, if you would like to learn how to buy and sell items through eBay, try our two day class from a certified eBay instructor. Will you be getting a digital camera soon? You could learn what to do with your images; how to edit, send, and print them. On another note we have a new 80 hour WorkReady program for 16-24 year olds. Then, too, if you would like to get off the couch and get going….try something new like Tai Chi, Meditation, or Yoga.

As Albert Einstein said, Anyone who has never made a mistake has never tried anything new.”

So try something new and join us for an evening of fun!
