What do Zumba, Oil Painting, Spanish, Welding, Transitions to College, Activities Coordination, College Prep Chemistry, and Office Skills Certificate have in common? They are all offered through Augusta Adult Ed. If you are stressed, alleviate your worries with Yoga and Tai Chi; or if you like the unusual, try the Paranormal Potpourri.

Program information, updates, changes, and registrations are available at www.augustaschools.org (click on District Programs).  Simply print out the registration form, complete the required information, and mail it in with your check or debit/credit card information. You can also visit our website hosted by the Maine Adult Education Portal at http://augusta.maineadutlted.org/ and follow the same process. Facebook fans can now get information by becoming a fan on our new Augusta Adult & Community Education page!

We have classes during the day at the Kennebec Learning Center where you can take enrichment courses like Digital Photography or very basic computers. We offer high school diploma and GED classes along with upgrades in College Reading, Writing, Math, Technology and skills for the workplace. Call us at

626-2470 to make an appointment to register with our counselor.
