Early Childhood Occupations is designed to teach     the skills required to care for and teach preschool children.  Students study the growth and development of children and assist in the operation of the Center’s nursery school.  Job shadowing at local child care agencies is part of the program.  

 

A second year program is also available for students who successfully complete the first year.  Second year students complete an in depth study of child development and job shadow in the public schools.
