Health Occupations- Half Day Program (AM or PM)
This program provides the opportunity to become a Certified Nursing Assistant. Classroom instruction covers theory, while clinical experience in nursing homes and hospitals provides the practice that allows qualified students to take the State Certified Test. Courses in biology and in health are helpful prerequisites. Attendance is vital to this program. Student interview and references may be required.
Health Career Sciences- Half Day Program (AM or PM)
This program offers a more in-depth introduction to occupations to the health field. Classroom theory and experiences in various Therapeutic, Diagnostic, Supportive, Medical services are offered such as respiratory care, sports medicine, dental care, animal health care, physical therapy, occupational therapy, mental health care and nursing. Student interview and references may may required.
