DO Academics offers the above seven courses for students with learning disabilities.

Full day students can choose a technical program and take three courses of their choice in the morning or afternoon session depending on their shop schedule.

Professional Responsibilities

Support the integration of special education students within the population at CATC

Develop curriculum that meets the Individual needs of students from eight area high schools

Provide academic assistance to students within their technical program when asked by a trades instructor

Offer knowledge or expertise regarding teaching methods that work well with students with disabilities

Attend formal PET’s and other meetings as a school representative when requested
