Mrs.
Beaudoin is returning to the Chizzle Wizzle directing team after a three year absence. Previously, she has been involved in all aspects of directing the show including Olio director and assistant director, as well Director of Minstrel. She is pleased to be reunited with her old pal Birdie Katz, this time working as director of the chorus. Mrs. Beaudoin is the choral director at Cony and also the District Supervisor of Music for the Augusta Schools. She directs the Cony Madrigals who perform frequently around the community, most notably at the civic center with multiple times with country singer Kenny Rogers as well as Jo Dee Messina. While away from CW, Mrs. Beaudoin recently completed her Master's Degree in Education at UNE. An experienced performer herself, she has appeared in lead roles with Gaslight Theatre, Waterville Opera House, Johnson Hall Theatre, and Carousel Music Theatre. Mrs. Beaudoin lives in Hallowell with her husband David, and two daughters Chloe and Carly. |

Birdie Katz: “After directing Olios for nine years and taking a three-year break, it’s great to be back in a new capacity! Working with the Ends and Alternates is a truly exciting and energizing experience – these are wonderful, hard-working, talented young adults!” Professionally singing/acting since 1974, Birdie has performed and directed from Washington D.C. to Maine State Music Theatre. Most recently seen as title role in Peter Pan and “The Witch” in Into the Woods. Other favorite leading roles include: Pajama Game, Fiddler .., Little Shop .., Bye Bye Birdie, Baby, I DO! I DO! TV: Commercials, “At Home With the Singing Chef”; National Anthems: Red Sox, Orioles, Bullets, Celtics; Kissed: Paul Newman in “Empire Falls” Loves and Kisses: Roger, Jonathan, and Shari!
