Chizzle Wizzle:
6
's Invasion
President
PRESIDENT’S ADDRESS
Good evening ladies and gentlemen. I would like to welcome you to the 117th Chizzle Wizzle production. Two years ago, Chizzle Wizzle was ‘moving out’ of the old high school, and last year we had our ‘Grande Opening’ in this wonderful new Viles Auditorium.
Cony is finally broken in, we have settled down, and the school is now ours. For this year’s theme, we have decided to look back, and we are looking way back, back to the 1960’s. I’ve heard that if you truly lived in and became part the 60’s you probably don’t remember a lot of it. Our goal tonight is twofold: to bring back memories – 40 to 48 year old memories for those of you who lived it, and to educate those of you too young to remember.
This year’s Olios are divided into three sections: Peace, Love, and Rock n Roll. The Olios will re-live the music, movies, dances, and bands of the 1960’s. As for Minstrel, I want you to imagine that you are not only the audience of Chizzle Wizzle but the audience of a classic 1960’s television comedy.
We’ve had a lot of fun putting this show together. I hope you realize that this is not our music; it’s not even our parent’s music, this is our grandparent’s music. All that is left now is for you to sit back, relax, and go back in time with us. I’m all decked out, there is a wicked good show about to happen, and we plan to sock it to ya!
I present to you: “60’s Invasion.”
