The School Based Health Center will be opening the second half of our weekly staff meetings to all school staff who would like to join us (1:30-2:00). We are inviting students and staff who would like to bring questions, issues, ideas to the table. Sometimes we will announce a topic we will be discussing and sometimes it will just be open for whatever might be brought up by our guests.

We hope to have our advisory council meet in similar fashion. The Advisory Council is a group of individuals who believe, as we do that a healthy student is a better learner. It includes, school staff, students and community members. These are people who want to support our efforts to support the educational process. Membership on the board is informal, open to all and has no required number of meetings. We want to invite you to be included on this Council.

Please remember that from 1-2 on Mondays we will only be open to scheduled medications, diabetic students and emergencies. By meeting more regularly, we hope to improve our service and impact here at Cony. Your input is always welcome and encouraged.

Thank you, School Based Health Center Staff
