*Detention for this week is with Mrs. Pattershall in the music room. Please bring something to read or work on for those who have to attend.
*After much confusion, the UA schedule has been fixed. Today is a red day, tomorrow is white and so on. This should correct any confusions from yesterday and the rest of the week.
*I have received some complaints from high school staff and students about the mess being left behind after middle school leaves the food court after breakfast and lunch. Please pick up after yourselves. We are not creating a positive image amongst the rest of the student body with how we leave things.
*Calling all 8th grade artists. A contest has BEGUN for interested artists to submit their design of what should go on the 8th grade tee-shirts to be handed out at the end of the year. Interested artists should hand in their designs to Mrs. Gauthier or Miss Kinney on an 8.5 X 11 paper no later than 3/11/10. Voting will begin on 3/12/10 for the designs that get submitted. All 8th grade students will get one vote. The winner will be placed on the tee-shirts to be handed out at promotion.
*Currently, our next dance is scheduled for 3/12/10 from 6:30-9:00 p.m. If the student body wants to see this dance go on, they need to rally together to make a difference in the attitudes and behaviors that go on during the day. Otherwise, the dance will get canceled. For suggestions on how to make a difference, please pass them on to Mrs. Gauthier. I love to hear what students have to say about positive change.
*If students are not feeling well, teachers will provide passes to the nurses. The nurse will call the parents if it is deemed that the student should be sent home. Students are not to call their parents to be picked up.
