Look Who's in the Spotlight at Farrington School!

Amongst the schools in our area, Farrington School finished first in the Hannaford Helps Schools program. As a result Farrington was awarded a bonus check for $1000.

On Sunday, December 2nd, the Farrington Frosties ran in the Jingle Bell 5K run for Arthritis.  The race was held in Freeport, and all proceeds went to help prevent, control, and cure arthritis. There was a huge turn out for the race, and they had a fun time supporting a great cause.  Team members included : Kiley Bonenfant, Holly Daigle, Jamie Schofield, Paula Bourque and Cheryl Kempton (from left to right in the photo).  The Farrington Frosties thank everyone at Farrington Elementary and Gilbert Elementary who supported their endeavors.

On Sunday, October 7, Miss Schofield & Mrs. Bourque took part in the Maine Marathon, a 26.2 mile run, which was held in Portland. All proceeds from the run will benefit WinterKids.

WinterKids is a nonprofit organization committed to helping children develop lifelong habits of health, education, and physical fitness through outdoor, winter activity.

Well done, ladies.
We are proud of you!
