TECHNOLOGY COMMUNICATIONS TOOLS
Students
will understand the basic skills necessary to use telecommunication tools.
Students will have an understanding of a variety of media and formats to
communicate information and ideas effectively.
Students
will have opportunities to demonstrate the following performances.
Prior to completion of Grade 2,
students will:
1.
Recognize that e-mail is a method of communication.
2.
Recognize that the Internet is a resource for information.

Understand the potential of using telecommunications and
online resources in collaborative problem-solving activities.

Use the basic terminology of telecommunications.

to completion of Grade 8, students will:

Design, develop, publish, and present projects using
technology resources that demonstrate and communicate curriculum concepts to
peers, parents, and the community.
