Committee Members Present Chair, Nicole Desjardins; Jennifer Day
Board Members Present Laura Hamilton, Kimberly Martin, Deborah Towle
Administrators Present James Anastasio, Donna Madore, Kathy Casparius, Troy Alexander, Zane Clement, Sue Dionne, Heather Gauthier
Others Present Eleanor Gay
  1. Adult Ed. Pay Schedule
Zane Clement explained that Adult Ed. never had a salary payment structure and he and Donna Madore, Assistant Superintendent, worked together to establish one.  Administrative Assistant positions are now based on Central Office Staff hourly rates.  Instructor-non-certified and Counselor/Assessment Technician are support positions and hourly rates are comparable to Augusta School Department support hourly rates.  Mr. Clement would like to increase the Instructor-Certified BS salaries from $22.00 to $25.00 per hour and the Instructor-Certified MS salaries from $25.00 to $28.00 per hour.  He will look at the budget to see if it can support the increases.
Jennifer Day made a motion to table this item until the June 1st Finance Committee meeting, Nicole Desjardins second, so moved 2-0.
  2. Review substitute pay schedule
Kathy Casparius requested that all substitutes be paid on an hourly basis.  If approved, the new rates for custodians would become effective July 1, 2015 and the start of the 2015-2016 school year for everyone else.
