PERSONNEL COMMITTEE MEETING
December 3, 2018

1.  Review Job Descriptions

            A.  Educational Technician III – Career Coordinator

                        Attachment 1

            B.  Accounts Payable

                        Attachment 2  

The committee reviewed the Educational Technician III – Career Coordinator job description.  Donna Madore, Assistant Superintendent, said she received input from Cony’s Guidance Department Head, the principal, and the Maine Education Association.  Motion by Edward Hastings to approve the job description as written, second by Jennifer Dumond, so moved 3-0. 

The committee reviewed the Accounts Payable job description.  Ms. Madore said she received input from the person in that position, the business manager and other districts.  “Successful background, criminal records, fingerprinting and reference check” will be added to the job description under qualifications.  Motion by Edward Hastings to approve the job description as amended, second by Jennifer Dumond, so moved 3-0. 

A spontaneous discussion took place.
