"I don't think there's anything as wonderful in life as being able to help someone else."---Betty Ford
I am fortunate to work with a fantastic department here at Cony. I am the counselor for high school students whose last name begins with the letters A-D. In addition, Mr. Hinds and I cover the 7th grade. Each day is a joy as I learn from students and work hard to serve them well.
I have worked at Cony for 11 years, most of that time as the licensed clinical counselor (LCPC). I graduated from UMF in 1996 with a B.A. in Psychology. Then, in 1998, I received a M.S. in Marriage and Family Therapy from Indiana State University (yes, i saw Larry Bird coach the Pacers!) Finally, I received my school counseling certification through Husson in 2010.
A 1992 Cony graduate I learned from excellent teachers, was honored to be part of Madrigals and proudly played in two state title games: Field Hockey (1990) and Softball (1992).
For 12 years, I coached field hockey at Cony, 8 as the Head Coach. Currently on "hiatus" to spend as much time as possible with my 2 sons and daughter, coaching remains a passion!
My husband, Brett, and I are the proud parents of a 6,3 and 1 year old.
"Happiness in life is not measured by the things we achieve, the places we go, or the route that we take to get there. Happiness in life is measured by the people that we share all of our experiences with."
