Teresa Beaudoin, Farrington Principal

It is a pleasure to welcome you this year as the Principal of Farrington Elementary School. Farrington has excellent teachers with strong instructional skills and a depth of knowledge that serves our students well.  I anticipate a successful school year working with you to prepare your children for a bright future.

I first began teaching in the elementary schools in Augusta in 1987 after receiving my Bachelor's degree from the University of Maine. I moved to Cony High School in 1999 where I remained until coming to Farrington in 2015.  I received my Masters in Education from the University of New England and then took additional courses for administration certification at Thomas College in Waterville.   I have a great pride and passion for the Augusta School Department and was thrilled to be able to make the move into administration while still remaining in this district.

Our staff works hard to  build strong relationships between parents, students, staff, and community partners to continue the legacy of success established at Farrington. We focus on fostering a nurturing safe environment for all of our children. Our priority is to ensure that all Farrington students receive the best education possible.  Every decision I make will be in each student’s best interest.

As Principal, my door is always open and I welcome your input. Please feel free to stop in or call to make an appointment to discuss any concerns or ideas.

I look forward to meeting you all throughout this school year and working with your children.

Teresa M. Beaudoin, Principal
