My name is Linda Nichols, and I am the new art teacher at Farrington School and Hussey School.  I am excited to be teaching in my old school district; I was a student at Hussey, Williams, Hodgkins, and Cony High School.
I earned my Associate of Science in Liberal Studies from the University of Maine at Augusta in 1993 and my Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education (Visual Arts Concentration) from the University of Maine at Farmington in 1997 while raising my two daughters, Caroline and Laura.  In 2009, I received my Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction:  Integrated Teaching Through the Arts from Lesley University, Cambridge, Massachusetts.
I have taught at Wales Central School, Maranacook Community Middle and High Schools, and at the Waterville Alternative School, a department of Waterville Senior High School.
Please stay tuned for some pictures of our students' art!  I am hoping for an exciting and productive year of art making!
