“Communication is a skill that you can learn. It's like riding a bicycle or typing. If you're willing to work at it, you can rapidly improve the quality of every part of your life.” Brian Tracy
Welcome to the Speech Room! My name is Lynn Blackstone. I have had the privilege of working on speech sound production, speech fluency, language understanding and use, and social thinking and overall communication skills with students at Lincoln School since 2009. Before moving to the Augusta area in 2006 with my husband, three children (who are now all grown up!), two cats, and one dog, I worked for 23 years in a variety of speech therapy settings in in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Georgia, and several different towns in Maine. I love the kids of Augusta, and really enjoy getting to know them as we work together on their communication skills. Thank you for sharing your children with me!
