My Career in Augusta
May I first share with you how honored I am to be chosen to work with the talented and dedicated faculty and administrators in this beautiful 7-12 school. As Assistant Principal at Cony, my primary responsibility is with the middle school faculty and students. From 2009-2011, I shared my position as Assistant Principal between two schools--Farrington and Gilbert Elementary. In 2008, I was Assistant Principal at Farrington School and during the prior school year, I was a fourth grade teacher at Gilbert School.
My teaching career began in 1972 with my Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education. In 1986, I earned a Masters Degree in Administration and Management. During my 39 years as an educator, I have held positions at grade levels K-16 either as a teacher, administrator or Mastery Learning Counsultant . With ongoing graduate work, I am certified as a Literacy Specialist, K-12; teacher, K-8, and Public School Administrator K-12.
I love learning and applying my knowledge and efforts in the educational setting so that others might meet their own potential and goals. Please do not hesitate to contact me if I can assist you with matters pertaining to the middle school.
