Micheal Parker - Title I Teacher

Farrington Elementary School

9380Hello! Welcome to my web page. This is my 23rd year of teaching. In 1998, I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree from Lesley College, Cambridge, MA, and acquired my Masters of Education in Literacy from the University of Maine in 2010.  I started teaching sixth grade in 1998. From 2005 to 2009 I worked as a literacy interventionist under the Reading First grant. I am currently the Title I Specialist working with students in grades K through 6. I am trained as a Reading Recovery teacher. I love teaching young people to read and feel very lucky to have the opportunity to work with so many wonderful children. I enjoy creating new and exciting ways for students to explore reading, writing, and discovering new ideas and amazing things that they never knew before!

Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or concerns throughout the year.
