Hello and thank you for taking the time to check out my page! My name is Steve Vellani and this is my fourth year teaching PE at Lincoln and Gilbert but my seventh year working in the Augusta School District. The last three years of teaching have been a wonderful learning experience and I look forward to continuing to work with the students this year!
It is important to me that each child receives a quality, age-appropriate education in my class. I strive every day to ensure that each of my students is active, learning new skills, and most importantly having fun! In order to do so effectively, students should be coming to PE class with comfortable clothing, sneakers, and a water bottle. I WILL NOT be allowing students to use or borrow sneakers from my office this year so it is very important they come with the proper attire. Also, I strongly encourage each student to have and bring their own water bottle to class as drink breaks will be limited during classes this year.
I am also requesting that a small list of equipment be purchased for your child which will be beneficial to have at home. This list includes a soccer ball, football, basketball, tennis ball, jump rope, and resistance band.
Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions or concerns you may have throughout the year. The quickest way to reach me is by email at firstname.lastname@example.org. You may also contact me via phone at 207-626-2483 ext. 3926 for Lincoln or at 207-626-2491 ext. 3656 for Gilbert.
