Cony hosted the Central Maine Math League at Cony today. They had 200 kids from 20 schools come together to do math for a couple of hours. Cony came in first in their division. Congratulations to the Cony math team and their coach Josh Poulin.
Cony is proposing moving from the 4x4 schedule to a Red/White Rotating block schedule at the Cony High School. Teachers believe that this change will increase student achievement. Staff believe that students will have more processing time for the content and experience less burnout. A change will reduce learning loss from semester or year-long gaps between classes.
Our HS Student Council hosted a blood drive today at Cony! Thanks to all who donated blood. Thanks to the Student Council and their advisor Angel Sylvester.
