As a result of the storm, all Augusta schools will have a two hour delay today, December 5th, 2024. Additionally, Gilbert’s AM Pre-K has been cancelled. The CATC AM session will be Cony students only and the PM session is as regularly scheduled.

Picture Retake Day tomorrow 11/20/ 24. If for some reason you were unhappy with the original fall picture please make sure to send in the original photos which will indicate that the students needs a retake. Otherwise only students who missed fall picture day or are new to the school will be photographed.

Updated bus routes for all schools are now posted on our website, augustaschools.org. You can also access the bus routes on our mobile app under “Documents.” There were changes this year, so please check and make sure students are at the correct stop. Our last Students of the Month for the 2023-2024 School Year!!
Monday is Field Day at Hussey. We ask that all children dress appropriately for fun games outside (sneakers), apply sunscreen at home, and bring a water bottle and hat to wear.
No school today in honor of Memorial Day.
On Tuesday, May 28th & Wednesday, May 29th there is NO SCHOOL for Kindergarten ONLY at Hussey due to registration days for the incoming K students.

Yesterday, thanks to our amazing PTO children kindergarten through second grade had a presentation from the Portland children's Museum about whales and the oceans ecosystem. This presentation included a 45 foot blowup, humpback whale, listening to whales songs and being able to touch whale teeth.

Sooooo THIS happened today! A new HusseySchool record for attendance at 98% 🥳🤩👏👏👏 - we rewarded our students accordingly ❤️ if you are wondering that's only 5 kids absent! Hussey families put a priority on school and attendance - keep it up!
