We have begun an Attendance Challenge! Each week we will be reporting the percentage of students in attendance for each grade level on the bulletin board by the main entrance (picture attached). Our school goal is 94%. Please join in and help your child get to school each day. Each week, the grade level with the highest percent will get to hold on to the Star Attendance Trophy for the week. We are only a few weeks in and are seeing an increase in percentages! We hit our goal last week with 94.3%, let’s see what we can do this week!

We know many homes are still without power and the flooding has caused major damage across the city. You are in our thoughts, and additionally we thank maintenance and custodian crews who have been working endlessly to care for our schools. Most Augusta schools have had power restored and are ready to welcome students back. There will be school on Thursday, 12/21/2023, for all schools except Farrington Elementary (which is still without power).
